Namor the Sub-Mariner (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:31730
Name:Namor the Sub-Mariner
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Cosmic Fantasy Customs
Date Added:August 8, 2011
Base Figure:Kazar and Hasbro Namor Head
Height:6.00 inches
This is one of the figs to round out my original Defenders team, he was also one of my least favorite when I first started to read comics. However grew to like the character after finding out more about him and who doesn't love his arrogant speech when fighting the hulk or FF4? Well I used a Kazar body, Namor Hasbro Head, Conan wrist and hands and cut the wings off and glued on the feet. I added sculpt to the knife to fit into his hands and gave him either the hasbro version of his trident or some other fodder trident. I also added an actual sea shell to his arsenal that attaches to his ankle. I used a magnet and now he can summon beast from far away or summon troops. Please let me know what you think, comments, criticism and views always appreciated. Thanks for the support and always check out the forums and photobucket for more of my work.

Really like the knife idea, very original and a more modern style, much better than any official figure, this should be a factory release.

thanks that is a great compliment, I thought of more of a modern/realistic namor. always saw sea guys with a shell and all divers/ocean people should have a knife. Also look at the marvel masterpiece card and you have what I was thinking. thanks again.

Nice! It's always cool to see a good namor custom! The poseability here is way better, and he has size to him, which works!

thanks, wanted to mention that about his size, but forgot. I will always see him as the marvel masterpiece card, still some of the definitive artwork for marvel characters along with the marvel series cards. thanks for the kind words means a lot.

thanks, I believe namor should have some size to him, he is able to take on the hulk and other strong guys. I do not see him as any of his other figs that were factory.

thanks, it took me hours looking through just the right size, shape and color so it did not look so plain.

wow that is very cool that you added a real sea shell. You did an awesome job adding that magnet there. and the accersoires are just so cool cause he doesn't really have a backpack or utility belt. you did him justice.

thanks, I really believed that he should have a few more oceanic accessories. does anyone know a diver without a knife? well thanks, I really just tried to tie in the kazar base with namor and he kinda came out a bit more midevil.
