This character here I started back in May when I first heard that Michael Bay was going to be working on the next TMNT movie. It made me think about what the characters might look like with Bay at the helm giving it a bit of a hard edge look so I decided to try my own version instead.
After some time I decided to put this figure on the shelf and concentrate on some other characters instead until I was in the mood to work on him again.
Well that mood came in the form of the San Diego comic Con which gets all of my creative juices flowing and over the weekend I finally finished the job.
The base of the character is some wrestling figure I bought months ago and sculpted over with two types of sculpey. After painting and finding parts from other figures for cloth, belt and a sword I think he came out great! He is articulated except for the right arm and bottom legs.
