I wanted to do a Daredevil in a long time. It seems like neither ToyBiz, nor Hasbro nailed a DD figure. I've used Face-OFF DD's head and gloves, ML4 Punisher boots and lower legs and the rest is from two pack SHIELD Agent. This was my first contact with this body and I'm totally in love with it. So many possibilities. It's cool Hasbro's using it for Steve Rogers in the ML relaunch. Used Model Masters paints this time, black and insignia red. They're quite nice and half the price of Citadel where I live. Though mixing a good color is a bit tricky, since I wanted the figure to be in a bright costume and it turned into a movie-ish color palette. MM flat sealer gave DD this shiny look. It's beyond me how this happened, but I like the leathery look. Devil's symbol are two Ds cut from a normal sticker and painted over a couple of times. His clubs are ear cleaning sticks cut in half and the big "joint clubs" is a lollipop stick. He also comes with long and short strings which, of course, are twist ties. The pouch on his leg is from XMC Stealth Wolverine. If you want my usual step by step write up, let me know. I'm not even sure anybody reads it ;) ![]() |

@cfc: The shorter one is from Playmates movie TMNT and the longer one's from MS Abominations. Yes, it's a little thicker than usual.
Thanks for the kind words, guys!
Did you get the brush on kind? If so you have to stir that stuff real good or it won't go on flat.
I used a similar build for my DD too.
MM Guard red mixed with tamiya base makes the perfect regular red.
Oh, the figure is much darker in hand and has a lot of different red shading. Maybe I'll try to take a better pic later.
