2nd Update: I went to Oscorp and found this flaming sword in the fodder bin basement to finish my favorite version of Hobgobs. :-)

Update: Got my sorta hybrid Phil Urich Hobs painted with a skin tone more like the one in the comic. Still haven't dug through the boxes for his sword, one day. lol

Howdy Figure Realmers! Man if I wasn't having a great time customizing before, I sure am now! Having Sonic Spidey and the new Hobgoblin together on the shelf is redonkulous. I held off starting this one for a while because I have no acrylic paints (checked out the tutorials) and I needed a dremel. And 2/3 of my fodder including the sword I will use for HG here is packed up in moving boxes. But I just couldn't help myself. I took off his cape and gave him some wings. I tried to make the wings a bit less organic looking than the dragon they came off of. The wings are movable. I then made him some goblin ears from Bilbo's mithril shirt so they are all soft and springy. I still need to paint his face and ears, as well as find that sword to paint all fiery looking. I am slowly working on new mods with each figure I do: first paint, then a head swap, then some acc., now dremeling. I feel like the sky is the limit with these figs. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and all the sweet customs you're making. And keep on building!

Yep yep, you're totally right. It was a bit of a stylistic choice for me. I had some armor from BA Spider-man. But I kinda liked the slimmer look of him as is. I spent a lot of time debating it. And when I do some painting on him I will for sure paint the armor to see if it works for me. That's what I love about changing them, picking and choosing the features I like. So fun! Thanks for commenting guys.

Hmmm I like the wings the head is amazing but for this costume does he not need plate armor instead of a shirt? Damn good work but my memory sas this is not quite finished. but that is just me and I may be miss remembering too I have not kept up on my spidey at all in like forever.

interesting, I do not read comics so I am out of the loop, but this looks good and is a better version and not just a green goblin copy. keep it up, can't wait to see more.
