Hi Everyone , gotta tell you i really love this site and you guys rock !
Heres my latest Superman made from the New Krypton Superman & the new JLA Classic Icon Superman.The JLA Superman was terrible ,dont buy unless your planning to customise it mainly due to the sloppy paint work.So after some hours of sanding I repainted him to the proper blue ,red & yellow he deserves.The cape is cloth with a yellow S & The chest symbol is a movie accurate decal -matte finish. The hands have also been replaced. The overall look is awsome and it reminds more of Christopher Reeve every time i look at it - I love the brightness of the colours and I made sure that there was zero mess when I painted him .Thankyou all for looking and please let me know what you think -

Thanks for the advise & saving me money lol. I made the easy custom with the regular dc sup body with new krypton head & hand but want a larger superman because I have so many batman & sup supposed to be in bigger scale. The jla one is the only one that seems to be in a good scale. Hopefully dc direct will make a new one from dcuo game. Too bad I gotta wait till march for series 1.

Great looking sup! Quick question, is this the latest dc direct superman figure? I saw the images on toy fair & thought the paint app looked much better than the older alex Ross version & was planning on making a similar figure like yours.

Thanks for your comments dude ! - I would still buy the JLA figure but you would absolutley need to repaint him because of the poor standard of craftmanship on the original I suggest using the citadel paints using enchanted blue with mixed white to get the bright blue "POP" effect - The Alex ross figure looked better painted .Also don't trust the promo pics for the JLA figures because they look nothing like it-
