This is Cyclops' "Mutantes Sans Frontières" field gear, as seen in Warren Ellis' Astonishing X-Men storyline "Xenogenesis."

Base: Hasbro Punisher
Head: Quicksilver
Hat: X-Men movie Civilian Cyclops

This would've been a perfect time to use a Matt Murdock head but I didn't have one. However, I did have a Quicksilver head lying around. SO I popped it on a Punisher body, dremeled down the hair, sculpted the shades over a thin wire and re-sculpted the hair. I tried to make it look like Kaare Andrews' art. I took off the gun holster and sculpted an extra cargo pocket, and added some trusty rubber bands to add some detail to the torso and gloves.

The hat is probably my favorite part of the figure. It originally had a hole in the top of it so I had to fill it. The hat is also removable.

I wasn't too keen on the storyline when I originally read it, but after reading it in one sitting I felt better about it. I hope this figure does it justice. So anyone want to make a super sexy Xenogenesis Storm for him to flirt with?? ;-)
