LCBH savage dragon head

this was one of my old customs and i thought i'd give him a make over.
this figure's really special for me... he's one of my favorite characters and this is where i practiced sculpting. approximately 80% of the figure was covered with epoxy, you can see it on the WIP i've attached. the gray areas are the sculpted parts. only some parts of the thighs and the feet are not covered with epoxy.

the old paint job i did was too glossy, i used acetone to strip him off of paint and sanded the whole figure again. i've smoothened the thigh area so that the texture would match with the lower leg sculpt. (i was too lazy to sand it down before as i don't have a rotary tool that time)

ibase coated him with black and then dry brushed with several shades of gray, and then gave him a black wash to even out the edges where the dry brushing lines was too obvious.

added some (removable) energy effects on his arms, elbows and leg. (repainted ML iron fist flames)

i also made a base/figure stand for him. i bore a hole on an unknown rock-looking base and inserted a PLAY ARTS clamp stand on it. i then glued on a cut off/sanded down kingdom come hawkman wings (leftover from my devil jin custom) on the base to resemble the bursting energy effect on the ground, added some lightning bolts (from evil ryu's hand's), the whole base was then repainted, and finally, adding flashing LEDs for the full energy burst effect. i bore holes on the base and inserted the LEDs on those holes. his whole body illuminates when the lights are flashing. it's just too hard to catch those flashing lights on picture. that's the best i could come up with... (3rd pic) hehe!

a little re-work here and there, a new paint job, and a custom light up base/figure stand.
