This guy started as a "let's make the movie costume on comic 'Wog!', but I'm still not skilled enough with sculpey to give him only four fingers. I've changed my mind and wanted to do the movie Kilowog, just with comic book head (because it's so dang cool), hence five fingers, three toes and no sculpted suit details.

After priming him black (about two coats of Citadel Chaos Black) I've painted his torso, crotch, lower legs and arms with a mixture of Goblin Green and a navy blue (sorry, forgot what it's called). It gave a really nice, deep green. He basically looked like Hal Jordan in his old outfit, but with green gloves. He was too plain, though, so I had to redesign him a bit. I though about Hal's or Kyle's modern suits, but my friend suggested something streamlined and I immediatelly thought about X-Men: First Class (comic) costumes. And there you have it, 'Wog's torso and shoulders are painted exactly as Scott's treads look in the book.

The next part was to pop up the details, so I mixed some GG, Mithril Silver nad Vallejo Clear Varnish and dry brushed the green parts. His GL symbol was painted last. I've done a few sketches and designs (the classic one was just too hard for me to do by hand) and finally chose Ion's Lantern when I screwed something a little different.

Oh, his ring? It's sculpted with Green Stuff, like his toes. I've embeded a screw with a cross/flat head. It was rounded with a bullet shell.

And that's the Black Ops Kilowog as I call him. Hope you like the poozer, 'cause he was a very fun project. Thanks!

BTW, in the future I may update him with some armor parts and a lanter battery, I have some ideas already.

Nice!!! I love that costume. The X-Men First Class model was a good one to go with. Streamlined never looked better!

This one I have mixed feelings on On the one hand it is amazingly well painted. on The other he is one of my favorite characters and that is not one of his costumes. It is reminiscent of Kyles costume so I kind of like it. Over all I give it 8.9 out of 10. Very cool

You think? I dunno, maybe. But I like him the way he is. He's an alien and I think his proportions can be a little off.
As I wrote, he should have 4 fingers but I'm not so good a sculptor to pull that off.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words, guys
