Hi,

This is my first contest, when I began work on this little guy this contest came across so I thought why not make this guy specially for this contest. He look just as if he came out of the Dark Avengers Comic Books pages. I wanted an Ares to stand next to my 3.75 inch scale Dark Avengers Team and finally I got to make him.

The recipe:

Torso and arms- Absorbing man
Head and legs- Gladiator.
Hand- Warpath


Now everything you see like armor, helmet, left arm bandages were sculpted; the ax was scratch-built, the sword was modified to look like Ares' sword.

The most difficult part on him was probably the helmet and the skull on the chest. The helmet as you all will be able to see is actually removable and his eyes look all white because I wanted him to have rage-look. Most of the accessories are removable like the helmet, belt and holster, leg knife with holster, and elbow pad.

The story,

After his final battle against Iron Man and Captain America from the Original Avengers only one could come out victorious; such event result in the death of Iron Man and the fall of Cap. America. The battle was thought, but they were no match for the God of War, ARES, being killing the job in which he was always ahead.

The story is made up okay, I do not read comic books much, but I made a nice short story to go along with the custom.
