Alright, so this is my first custom and first time using apoxie sculpt, I've never even done a repaint, but overall I'm pretty happy with it :) The recipe: a punisher figure from super hero showdown series, cut off all of the dangly bits and dremeled out the face. The entire head is custom sculpt and was insanely difficult to do at this scale (I may eventually re sand the face and smooth it out a little but it still looks pretty dope) The shoulder pads, chest armour and jet pack are all made from scratch using aves apoxie. The helmet is from a luke skywalker figure and has been modified sanded and sculpted with apoxie and is removable (antenna are just painted paper clips :) Paints were a mix of citadel's and tamiya's The paint job is pretty straight forward, I may dry brush a lighter red eventually but I'm satisfied with it. I really enjoyed making this and I'm definitely hooked. It feels kinda natural being a comic artist, so let me know what you think, constructive criticism is always welcome ;) ( Ant-man Eric O'Grady current secret avengers version) ![]() |
