Agreed. The design and the idea are pretty wicked though. Once you get down your painting skills, you can go back and touch up your lines a bit more.
BTW, if you need to make straight lines, use tape as a kind of "boundary", itll make painting straight lines much easier.

Doc is right, remember to use a brush that is suited to the task. If you have large brushes, try to get some smaller ones. If you can't afford smaller brushes (and believe me I am the king of Broke!) you can make a smaller brush by skillfully carving down the bristles on a larger brush. Use a very sharp exacto blade or a razor blade (please be careful!) and cut close to the metal rim that holds the bristles onto the stick. If you don't want to sacrifice a brush permanently, you can temporarily take a large portion of the bristles and fold them back along the shaft of the brush, then carefully tape them with some masking tape getting them out of your way. This will give you a temporary fine brush but remember that when you are done with it you want to untape them and re-straighten the bristles so your brush is ready to go the next time you use it! A softer bristle brush is going to be best, those horrid black nylon (with the white plastic shaft) brushes that come in the testors paint kits are only good for applying glue or inspiring a great deal of cussing. Keep practicing and keep up the good work!

Cool man, you've just got to learn to stay in the lines when you paint. A figure looks awful when the lines aren't clean, no matter how smooth your paint is.
