Still get chills watching that scene where Jack hollers "DANNY!" while walking thru the snowy hedge maze at night, searching for his son with an axe. In fact, there were so many scenes of surreal terror and eerie moments in the movie, that makes this an instant horror classic.
Based on a Stephen King novel, The Shining is a story about a man who is hired to keep up the Overlook Hotel in Colorado during the winter season, when the hotel is closed to the public. He moves in for six months with his wife Wendy and his son Danny.

The Hotel Manager mentions about past innkeepers who where struck with cabin fever - one in particular, murdered his family and then killed himself. But Jack assures the manager that this will not happen to him because he is busy writing a book, and could use the peace and quiet.

Danny, his son, has a gift called the "shining" where he can see the future, read minds, and see dead people (insert jokes here). Both parents are worried, but are told there's no need for concern by a doctor before they leave.
Shortly after they arrive at the hotel, strange things begin to occur, and before long, all work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy.
Went with a Dark Alliance Lucifer for the head, resculpted facial details and hair. Used a UFC figure for base and sculpted the clothes overtop. Had to include the door scene as prop lol, which has become synonymous with the phrase "Heeeere's Johnny!"
