After having found his place in life in the planet hulk storyline, the hulk had it all taken away when in issue #105 the ship that stranded him on the planet explodes due to critical mass buildup. Destroying his newfound kingdom, his princess who was pregnant with his child and his planet! Knowing that it was blackbolt, dr strange, tony stark & reed richards, hulk is traveling at lightspeed with the surving gladators of a now dead planet to enact vengeance upon those responsible. Possibly threatening to destroy the planet in the process! Will anyone be able to stop the aftermath? The crossover begins with the one-shot World War Hulk Prologue: World Breaker (July 2007), written by Peter David and penciled by Sean Phillips, Alvaro Rio, and Lee Weeks. Marvel announced this will be followed by Incredible Hulk #106-110 and World War Hulk: Frontline #1-6[2] as a parallel story that follows the impact of the Hulk's return on various characters, such as She-Hulk, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and Hercules. The crossover will extend to regular issues of Avengers: The Initiative, Ghost Rider, Heroes For Hire, Irredeemable Ant-Man, and Iron Man; and miniseries starring the Hulk and the X-Men and a newly created group, the Gamma Corps.[3] The stories are scheduled to run through summer to early fall, beginning in issues cover-dated July 2007.[4] In his time spent on the planet Sakaar, the Hulk has become stronger than ever before, and he wants revenge on the Illuminati. In his spaceship headed for Earth, the Hulk grows enraged at the The Illuminati for the loss of his wife and his unborn child. Seeing his friends as enemies, he almost kills the Brood and Korg. The Hulk and his comrades plan to attack Illuminati member Black Bolt first. In issue #1 of World War Hulk, the Hulk confronts Black Bolt on the moon, he tells him he wants to hear him scream. The fight takes place off panel though and isn't shown. Meanwhile, on Earth, the Hulk's stone ship appears above New York City. Over the streets of Manhattan, the Hulk plays a holographic containing his story and explaining that he blames the Illuminati for his tragedy. He demands that the Illuminati show up in New York City within 24 hours or he will destroy it. In addition to this threat, the Hulk displays the beaten Black Bolt to add weight to his demands. While this is going on Iron Man tries to regain control over satellites that the Hulk has hijacked but is unable to do so. After a conversation with the astral projection of Dr. Strange, both teams of Avengers team up to try to help with the city's evacuation. Among them is a re-powered She-Hulk. Meanwhile Stark and Reed Richards were able to convince the Sentry to fight against the Hulk but not before the Sentry had a word with Iron Man. As it turns out Iron Man arrives in Manhattan, in new Hulk-Buster armor, to fight the Hulk one-on-one, showing us that this may have been part of the Sentry deal with Iron Man. During this fight he admits that he did exile the Hulk but explains that it was for the safety of the world. During the battle, two missiles fired by fighter jets hit the Hulk which prompts memories of his deceased wife, Caiera. An enraged Hulk shouts, "You killed her" and is able to beat Iron Man towards Stark Tower where the two combatants bring the tower down. He then is shown madder than ever and ready to attack..... Can anyone stop hulk's rampage or is the earth doomed!?? Now upon the heels of this weeks comic debut of the world war hulk mini series i give you the figure! Everything was apoxie Sculpted, loin cloth added courteously of left over Ragmans cape fabric & added studs & airbrushed. Sword was made from 2 pieces of acrylic, cut & sanded. I made the sword a little bulkier & hefty as I felt the one in the comics is too tiny! ![]() |

I actually had the Faceoff Hulk 2 pack set aside for over a month to do this but hadn't brought myself to use it. (its less articulated & smaller)
Can someone please make this hulk with a Face Off Hulk?
Punstarr: Just keep in mind I had to paint the legs upper part which was brown. I had a field day matching that color! I think they go by color of the day!
