....continuing on with my current Michael Myers/Halloween obsession here. I was almost finished with this piece when I had a vision of a Dr. Loomis mego to chase him. I love Dr. Loomis...most people, when confronted with a 7 foot tall homicidal maniac, will probably instinctively run in the opposite direction, but not our boy Loomis. He runs straight at the maniac! Ah well, maybe next time...
This custom is mostly generic CTVT stuff, and the overalls were dyed dark blue. I used the ultra versatile Space 1999 Raan head (or as CTVT refers to him for licensing purposes, "Gold Man Head")for Michael's trademark visage. How cool would it be to use a Capt. Kirk head though, considering the famous Halloween mask was sculpted using Willy Shatner as its reference source. Wow, I just thought of that, and now I'm gonna have to try it. It'll be a good excuse to get after that Loomis as well. I managed to get a rooted hair look by cutting the top of Barbie Catwoman's head off and fitting it over Raan's bald head like a skullcap. I sculpted a mask over his face and used Aves to connect the skullcap to Raan's head so there is no seam. It worked pretty well. His knife comes from a Jungle Woman figure.
