Okay, I always liked DC's old series "Young All-Stars", and in particular, team member Iron Munro. Yes, I know that he was only created to fill in the gaps of DC's 1940's era history created after Crisis on Infinite Earths when there was no Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman during WWII. However, I still liked the character, and thought he deserved the custom figure treatment.

Now, the figure was a pretty straight forward custom, with very little work done to the base other than a full repaint of the T-shirt, pants, belt, and boots. However, I had to create Iron Munro's "skunk-stripe spit-curl". So, using a glob of Milliput, and a Superman figure as reference, I modded out his hairstyle, and then used an actual comb to create the definition and lines in the hair. Once the Milliput had dried, I painted the stripe white, and TA-DA, the Young All-Stars' teenage Superman, Iron Munro!!!!!!!

(Yes, had I known back a few years ago when I created him that the Superboy would become such a sought after collectible, I probably would NOT have done him, but, OH WELL!)
