Civil War Punisher

There was this lonely XMC Ultimate Sabretooth figure that was floating around the pegs at my local TRU, it was there for weeks. I kept looking at it everytime I'd go in hunting MLs but kept passing it up because I couldn't think of what I'd use it for. Then one cool March day I was scanning the new March for May issue of Marvel Previews and saw the pic for the cover of Punisher War Journal #7 and it hit me like a bolt of lightning. The next day I sped over to TRU fully expecting the Sabretooth to be gone now that I had this epiphay but, as you can see, luck was with me. I'm really happy with the way this Custom turned out but I can always use constructive criticism.

Recipe:
- XMC Ult. Sabretooth, took off head and arms
- Used Apoxie Sculpt to fill in his hyper detailed chest to make it look like he's wearing a shirt
- Head from a very P.O'd JLA Classified Series Aquaman, painted hair black and touched up flesh to match the rest of the figure, used one of the tiny rubber bands that secure the Hasbro figures as a gasket in the peg hole to keep the head from flopping around - helped to give it more range of motion too
- Arms from a TNA Hoyt Whatshisface Wrassler, had to chop off the Sabretooth arm pegs and replace with screws
- Hands from WWE Ruthless Aggression Backlash Randy Orton figure - great for holding guns - cut off pegs and replaced with screws
- Shirt Collar made from Waxed Cotton Cord (Jewelry Making Section of Michael's)
- Belt made from Sinister cape strap and XMC Stealth Cyclops belt, pouches / ammo clips from Bullseye and Commando Spawn, Boot Knife from Commando Spawn, Holster from XMC Stealth Cyclops
- Skull emblem printed on Testor's White Decal paper and then touched up with paint after it was applied and dryed
- Gave pants a wash of black to bring out definition

There you have it, my rendition of Frank "The Punisher" Castle based on his Civil War / War Journal look.

Did you see that Black Arachnis has a cast of this head now? I think it's time for me to make one.

Thanx so much you guys. I really appreciate the confidence boost but I couldn't have done it without all the help, tutorials and tips you guys have provided.
Kyle - yep this is the biggest job I have finished to date. I learned a lot from doing this one and the 3 beofre that I destroyed.
I'm going to put this one up on a website to see how that goes and I have the stuff to make a version 2 that will live on my shelf.
