I present to you...Gilad the Eternal Warrior. I was explaining this customizing thing to one of my closest buddies, and he said he wanted one. After a moments thought he came up with this 20 year old character. He had no idea I was already working on his brother Armstrong. How's that for coincidence? Great minds... huh? He is a Winter Soldier body with Mr. Terrific arms and gloved hand, jacket from a Terminator Salvation Marcus, one random left hand, Longshot (after loosecollector) head with Winter S's hair. I drilled in and burried brad nail tips in the glove for the spikes and the arm armor is 14 guage wire cut, filed and sanded. I didn't want to make a fig. with no sculpt, so I added another strap to each boot. I even gave up the shotgun from my personal Deathstroke. Besides that I really tried to give it a "top of my capability" paintjob. (I even painted and sealed the guns) So this guy's off to make his home in southern Florida.
How'd I do guys? comments?
Keep on Blastin!

Cool 2 see Valiant get some love! Great execution! I never read any Valiant titles but I remember him from the ol' days in Wizard!

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the comments. The paints were: dark grey base, german grey wash, light grey dry brush with a very thin blue-grey dried over all. I am trying to learn and work on painting technique as I am not a naturally artistic guy. I'm a carpenter, so some of the other aspects are a bit easier for me. Thanks again!! Keep on...

This came out REALLY well! The cut wire is pretty genius. Did you dry-brush or wash the darker areas on the clothes? Nicely Done! -Fitz

Awesome work! This is a very clean custom. You did a great job capturing the likeness. I haven't seen a Valiant comic in years. Great to see them in action figure form.
