Hey guys, I've been wanting to do another shatterstar for some time now and recently a friend help me accomplish this. The base is lcbh madman, pretty much one if not the only fully white figure in the legends style line. I removed the mid arm portion and swapped it with the baggy looking xmc gambit arms. I retained the original lower forearm and glove, sculpted baggy looking fabric and repainted white. Even tho the figure was a white figure, it was dirty at first, so the whole thing was repainted, sealed, painted, sealed, etc. The front was fully sculpted I even detailed metal "clasps" on the front of uniform. I custom sculpted the cape, which is hard to see in some of the pictures, it is attached to his baggy collar. The boot flares were fully sculpted with my signature "stitched" look. Leg strap was fully sculpted. The head is lcbh ripclaw, which is right for so many reasons, this figure easliy has the best "ponytail" action. Also the face is so much like shatterstar, ya no "yelling" face but it works great, I sculpted the face mask and hair. The belt is not exactly like that in the comics, but that little pouch, which is supposed to be for one of his swords just really doesn't make sense. Iuno maybe I'm wrong but on the original issue of xforce with the front and back cover spread clearly shows a super long "sword pouch" which kind of hangs from his belt. Lol w/e I don't need to nerd out. Neways the belt is removeable and an old factory toy biz piece, I really like these belts, I snap em up whenever I can. Hope you guys like.
