I won the new MS Gambit in a contest, but he came as an unpainted factory figure, so I got to do him my way. First, his whole legs were primed chaos black. After that I've done the boots. I wanted to maintain the rivets black, so I drybrushed them with mithril silver. It took some time, but I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I've also painted with mithril the silver parts of his vest. And speaking of it, it's done with a mix of mithril and liche purple wich gave a nice pearly color. It's also used on leg decals. Coat and sleeves were first painted with a mixture of probably every color I had (seriously, I've used lots of them) and washed with beastial brown, which gave it a weathered look. His face and fingers are done with a couple coats of an elf flesh-white primer mix and washed with elf/dwarf flesh. Eyes are chaos black and blood red. Hair was done with darkened beastial brown and drybrushed with regular bb. Finaly, accessories. I've done the staff the same way as his boots. The card is from one of two sets of thrown cards I've got with him. It's been cut and and painted with a variety of mixed purples and pinks on only one side. It looks pretty cool and since the card's cast in a transluscent plastic, it looks like a semi clear paint from the other side. His card is, of course, an ace of spades.
