I've had a powermaster prime head for a while sitting on my shelf, its been goading me, egging me on to build something out of it, like a voice in my mind it haunted my dreams....er No....ok so maybe thats a bit over the top, but I had it sitting there waiting for the right parts to turn up for a custom.

Anyway I found a ninja frog zord at a junk store for 50p and thought that will do for the legs of a masteriece scale figure, then I scratch built the rest from junk parts,random robot fodder, bionicle and random plastic pieces. I basically made it up as I went along, but it took a shape that started to look more like a MUNKEY NOT TRUK, blasphemy to the G1 era fans. As a plus most of the colour scheme was more primal than prime, so very little painting on major parts means less chipping...... bonus!

the gorrilla head came from a knock off king kong, whos body was used for my next custom, and he has an openable chest with the matrix and some circuits.
