First appearing in Marvel Premiere #19 (November 1974) Colleen Wing grew up in Japan learning the ways of the Samurai, in which she became very skilled. Later moving to New York City she formed a friendship and partnership with Misty Knight. Due to Wing's samurai-style training and both partners' expertise in the martial arts the two became known as the Daughters of the Dragon!
