From a crossover series idea I had. A black ring finds a spatial rift and enters the Marvel universe. Several Green Lanterns (and a few enemies) follow only to meet their ends in various ways. The rings then seek out new bearers in this new universe.
The second hero to be bestowed with a green power ring, Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-Man) was chosen by the dying Green Lantern kk'mKk of kM to weild the green power-ring.

The figure design was from my own original concept work. This was my first figure done using sculpy (for the gauntlets). Base figure was a black Spider-man, and I liked the metaalic blue highlights and tried to keep as many as I could. I modified the design in the process (as the green had a much more spider-like shape to it originally) but am ultimatley pleased with the results. The hardest part after the sculpy was getting the chest logo to not be overly sloppy.

The lantern has since been painted up in the same metallic christmas green as spidey's suit.
