I got a pound shop horrific Xena figure and thought the armour was usable, but not on any female fig I've got.

I shaved down the face a little and added breasties, with a nice mix of pectoral. Then I gave her big ol' hips and a bit of extra bum roundness.
The pound shop fig only supplied the front part of her armour so the back, armbands, and so on are made from strips of leather.
The painting was fun. Especially giving pretty eyeshadow and lipstick to my macho man.
