After scouting vintage Antrons online and finding them to be too expensive, I decided to make my own using a Skeleton Warriors Aracula that I had laying around as the base. It's a pretty simple custom and the bulk of the illusion is in the paint job. I cut the hands off of the four limbs that sprout out of his back and updated the look of the vintage figure's weapons with fodder bin stuff while still trying to maintain the "feel" of the original. I also drilled out the back of his head and used chewing gum, mod podge, and glow in the dark paint to re-create the glowing, exposed brain that the aliens of the original line had. I always thought it was strange that the aliens and mutants of the Micronauts had exposed brains, but it was such a cool feature that I could overlook the obvious flaw in the concept of the design!
