Hi Everyone !! I think I'm the first to make a 12inch James Hetfield Lead Singer & Rythm Guitarist of METALLICA !
James is my idol , so I decided to make a figure of him from a 12 inch Jack Bauer doll , the likeness was uncanny :-)I decided to add some sculpt for a beard and sideburns and a little hear and there to adjust the features of james's face. I tired to make tattoos but felt it just kinda looked like scribble but at this stage the tatoos are definitly are work in progress . I also made a stage with blue lights & with IPOD speakers so I can connect my IPOD loaded with Metallica songs for more of an EPIC look . I also managed to find a 16th scale ESP explorer on a website which also lights up the fretboard and repainted it black !m! . I made the strap from scrap leather and outfitted him in a black costume and made custom black wristbands . I Gotta say I'm happy with my fav custom eva let me know what you think - my only issue is the arms , maybe I will add sculpey to make them look better
PS it took me over a month to complete because I wanted him to look as best as possible.
