Story:

As Sora and his team travel to the next world in the Gummi Ship, Donald gets fussy over wanting to fly the ship for once. After a little scuttle with Chip and Dale, Donald accidentally hits the control panel with his wand and causes the ship to go haywire. The ship begins to head towards some strange black hole and shortly gets sucked in...

Sora wakes up to find himself in the middle of a forest with strange new clothes. Out of nowhere, shrunken and kunai fly towards him. He summons his keyblade to deflect the projectiles only to find that he's holding a keyblade he's never seen before. Sora gets up and starts running into the forest. Just before he is able to disappear into the forest, a stray kunai jams itself right into his leg.

As soon as he feels it's safe to stop and take a breath, Sora collapses onto the forest ground. When he finally found the strength to open his eyes, he sees a pair of feet in front of him. The person makes their way to Sora's side and pulls out the kunai. Shortly after, Sora can feel a strange sensation where the kunai had been and was finally able to stand up again without pain. He brushes himself off and thanks the stranger. He introduces himself and as they shake hands, the stranger says," I'm Sakura. Nice to meet you."

This is my first custom figure ever. I'm actually a photographer by profession but I like to pick up different things that involve creativity. My friend Pete had just gotten me into this not too long ago. The more I watched him make his Monarch figure, the more intrigued I was with customizing. I had this idea in my head for a while now but originally as a cosplay costume. If you aren't familiar with Kingdom Hearts, basically it's videogame where this kid named Sora travels through different Disney worlds sometimes dawning some clothes that resemble the world he's in. I thought, what if he managed to get himself into an anime? I chose to go for my fav anime Naruto. Basically it’s a ninja animation following a determined young boy wanting to become great. Look these series up sometime. I want to continue the story to where Naruto is missing so Sakura asks Sora to help her find him as well as Donald and Goofy

So what I did was spend a pretty little penny on a Sora action figure. I drew out a color scheme before I did anything else. I actually dismembered most of the pieces, painted and glued them back together. The headband was made with Apoxy. I etched the emblem on the forehead protector with a sewing needle, painted it with Citadel Boltgun Metal and washed Tamiya Black over it so that the outline of the crown logo comes out. The back of the headband was made from Green Stuff. I tried Apoxy but it kept breaking off. It was too thin but the green stuff kept a nice pliability. The Keyblade was made with apoxy. I molded a general shape over the old keyblade the figure came with and used a dremel to shape it when it was dry. The pouches on his thighs were recycled parts from the original figure. I added green stuff then shaped them with the dremel. I mostly used Tamiya paints. I love how those paints apply. Afterwards I brushed a coat of Model Master Flat Clear Acryl to give the figure a little matte texture. I'm not a fan of glossy.
