Continuing my love or Iron Man I found that 8" figure of the Mark VI to be quite well detailed, but severely lacking in the paint job department. After I re-painted my first mark VI in movie accurate colours I decided to try a true custom. Taking inspiration from another of the coolest robots ever I created Optimus Iron Man Prime.

Simple re-paint in Optimus colours and added a mouth piece and 'ears' using plastic from a coke bottle, I tried all kinds of stuff to glue these on but it kept popping off, in the end I used a few dots of fibreglass resin.
