Friday the 13th Part: VIII – Jason Takes Manhattan

A lot of people thought this film was stupid, but I rather enjoyed it. It was cool to see Jason out of his element, in the big city. The only thing I didn’t like was unmasked Jason, so I took a bit of artistic liberty with his head. In the movie he looked like a deformed Jack-o-lantern. I basically just kind of switched it up and took a few features from past Jason heads and kind of mixed them with his Part VIII design. I am happy with how it turned out.

Of course, I also added as much articulation as possible so he wasn’t a statue. I drenched him in gloss because he is wet the entire movie and it looks awesome in person but barely showed up in any photos, and for that, I apologize.
