Sooo...

I did the Ultraman fro mthe Cirsi on Two Earths series a while back, and had to do the Owlman. Used a Wolverine, cut his mask back a bit, and then sculpted the Owlman style armor from the cartoon onto his mask, torso, boots, and gloves. I sculptedthat 'O'on his chest--not fun. I thought the Wolvie looked good and nuts, so I didn't want to change the face too much.

The cape is 3 separate pieces of cut and sealed cloth that is then sculpted over where it meets the back of the neck cowl. This allowes for a more 'wing-like' look to it when spread, but still lets it collapse behind him.

I serated some of the edges, as I think in real life, wearing a cape would cause it to get a bit messed up, as opposed to always looking neatly and new.

Feel free to let me know your thoughts, and keep customizin'!

Whoa! It's Very Good. I especially like the CRAZY FACE!! Great Owl Man, by the way, a tip on sculpting a circle without the hassel-hoff...grab a pen/marker or something that has a perfectly round bottom for the size Emblem you want. Then, like a stamp, just press down and it makes the perfect circle just clean it up...Love the round Owl Eyes!!!!!!!!!

The Sculpting On The Body Is Perfect, But The Face Doesn't Really Work, In The Film He Was Very Calm, Cold, And Calculating. So The Snarling Look Of The Wolvie Head, Doesn't Seem To Work For Owlman, But Thats My Personal Opinion. Again The Sculpting On The Body Is Perfect, Especially On The Torso.

it looks like a well made and thought out figure. I'm surprised that you thought of making the cape into 3 pieces because most people just make one thing. I like to make my cape look the same as yours. I don't like it when it looks new and ironed out. Your owl man came out great and you did a good job sealing and painting him.
