Scarlet Spider (Spiderman) (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:25415
Name:Scarlet Spider (Spiderman)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Anthony's Customs
Date Added:November 8, 2010
Base Figure:Face off Daredevil
Height:6.00 inches
Well, its been quite a while since I've made any customs and I decided this figure would be a nice one to end my hiatus. Its a Face-Off Daredevil base figure with a new scratch-sculpted head, resculpted torso, various fodder bits to detail the outfit, and a complete repaint. Let me know what you think about my version of Scarlet Spiderman. I have never been a fan of the web shooters on the traditional Scarlet Spider so mine has the same kind as the 90s cartoon Spiderman....the kind that are hidden in the gloves. He does have some extra web capsules on his arm straps though :D Thanks for looking!

well, thanks man. I want to make a 2099 or armored spidey, but I'm too lazy to do the webbing on his outfit

oh. ok. I tend to avoid looking at who is making the figure and focus more on the figure itself....the names are less impotant to me. ..wouldn't want to play favorites

I like it lot. It remids me of Asch's style too which is very nice.

good example. I figure, creative license is reason enough. plus, the straps do help to balance the figure out ab it design wise. they break up the red and help to draw the eye up from the lower half or down from the upper half...maybe I'm stretching it a little there, but its not necessarily untrue

Or Cable for that matter. Useless straps and pouches were practically a super power for him.

yeah. if it was gonna be something particularly stupid, I would have just removed them, but lots of heros have had useless straps throughout history...look at hercules for example

See now why can't Hasbro make Marvel Legends like this? Stellar work.. I'm curious what the purpose of the thigh straps are?

again, thanks a lot everyone. I thought this base figure would be perfect for this spidey. the factory sculpt on the muscles could be better, but its pretty good imo
