Next up is something that I'm really proud of for two reasons.

A) Its pretty awesome as far as I'm concerned (sorry about my hubris flaring up there, I just really like it)

B) He's a present for a very special kid. My good friends friend has a 12 year old who is just the coolest, nicest kid you could ever hope to meet, but unfortunately, he was born autistic.Whats worse is now, as if life hadn't already dealt him a bad enough hand, he's starting to develop tourette syndrome. He doesn't have many friends to spend his time with, so he's developed a very close bond with two things: Action Figures, and Halo. He's a smart kid though, and thus hates that McFs Halo figures are 5" scale. He wants big figures that can fight his super heroes! So I've decided to make this figure for him. He drew me a diagram of what he wanted which was kinda difficult to understand, but it basically boiled down to "fire on the head, but not too much fire", "blue", and "a jet pack with a magnet". Also, I knew he was already partial to the Hayabusa armor, so I went to work this.

Now, I know this isn't 100% game accurate, but I think it still came out awesome. Mostly, I know the chest piece isn't the right one, but eh. He has a sword and sheath which attach magnetically to his back, which can be replaced with a jet pack. I'm not crazy about how the jet pack looks, but I haven't played Reach, so I have no idea what a the halo packs are supposed to look like, so I kinda winged it. I think of it more as an anti-grav pack.

He comes in at a little over 7" tall, which actually makes him fit in perfectly in the 6" scale, as Master Chief is supposed to be 7' tall in his armor. Fire as always made from hot glue, and it came out a lot better than I thought it would. I was a little hesitant to add it at first cause I thought he looked perfect without it, but it was on the diagram, and therefor necessary. The shoulder armor was built from scratch, and are on hinge joints so they can adjust to different arm positions. The head is almost completely resculpted. The body is mostly a Neca Ryu Hayabusa, which retooled armor pieces from a Megabloks Spartan. His upper legs were completely resculpted, and his feet are from a XMC Juggernaut. Anyways, I'm feeling good about this one, hope you guys like it too. The last picture has the grav-pack on it.
