This is part restoration, part repaint, and parts mess around.
I was looking for a masterpiece prime on a website and bid on several that went for a lot more than my missus would let me spend, £150 plus, then I bid on this heap of junk for £5 including p+p, he was listed as broken g1 prime cab only so was overlooked by all but me, luckily. It was missing his head, left foot and left arm flip panel. also had no gun, axe matrix etc. but I thought I could use him to experiment with.

First thing I did was get a spare power master prime head and saw off the peg/flap, then I unscrewed it and covered the eyes with crome tape followed by a light painting of blue gloss to give him shiney blue eyes.

Then I painted his chest with a variety of blue shades to create the cartoony look, used some plasic food container lid to make the flip up arm panel and painted that in smoke grey plasticoat and red acrylic, at the same time I acrylic red the autobot logo to give it a different tone than the arm.

Drilled a hole in the head and also discovered a movie prime head wich was originaly a fridge magnet, this maget I gave it the g1 paintjob and drilled a neck hole, swapable heads to see which is better, comments welcome (and yes I know movie head looks like enraged prime).

The foot is made of cardboard bits taped together and filled with polyfilla, then painted blue. then I added some extra details to the front and rear of legs and fished out a power ranger gun which I added details to so he has a weapon.

yes he still transforms but has to have his head popped off first, unless anyone has a spare head (I'm willing to pay or trade) he'll stay like that. on a lighter note I got a 25th anniversary prime for £9, which is cheap so I now have two very different masterpiece molds for under £15, the last pic shows both for comparison.
