Ragnaark the Plunderer was the scourge of the seven seas back when the Vikings were the most feared warriors in the world. His name Ragnaark is derived from the word Ragnarökkr which means "final destiny of the gods". His coming was foretold and feared among the scandinavian people. For he is evil incarnate and if truth be told even intimidated some of the Gods.

As a young man he traveled far and wide and gathered the most brutish warriors he could find. With his cast of plunderers assembled he unleashed his fury on the world. Pillaging and plundering as he went leaving a trail of death and destruction in his wake. All feared him and slowly his legend grew and so did his ego. One day he decided even the great Thor God of Thunder and lighting was afraid of him. Why else had the Thunder God allowed him to sail the seas so freely? He even boasted that he could best the God in battle. Just then Thor appeared and the two began to battle. Ragnaark fought savagely but eventually the Thunder God bested him.

Ragnaark's soul arrived in the hollowed halls of Valhalla the place where all warriors who died in battle go. But alas he was too evil for the sacred place. He begged Odin to send him back to Midgard (Earth). Odin agreed and sent his soul to roam the seven seas. So to this day whenever you hear of evil being committed by man on the oceans. Mostly likely it's Ragnaark whispering evil into Man's ears and corrupting all the poor souls who stay at sea just a little too long.
