Conan the Destroyer (Conan) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:24036
Name:Conan the Destroyer
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Conan
Creator:MetalAlchemist
Date Added:September 5, 2010
Base Figure:Batista Elite Series
Height:7.00 inches
Took an Elite series Batista Figure and sculpted the fur and part of the boots with milliput. Same thing with the leather wrist band. The metal wrist band is done with some aluminum strip embossed with a small nail (not to sharp)
The head is obviously a Neca Pitt fighter Conan.
The paint is airbrushed along the skin and the clothing is done with the traditional dry brush effect.
Some hours of continuous listening to Basil Poleduris's Conan Score and tadaaaaa!!!
daaaagdhdaaadddaaghaaaa... get dauuut!!!, our gentle barbarian Governor.
Thanks to kaneda186 for the help and Invincible-Toys for the Idea.

Thanks guys for your comments. This is my first time I sculpted something as epoxy putty is hard to get in my country, so I really appreciate all of your compliments

wow! I'm a fan of the original robert e. howard books and current comicbook series from darkhorse, so I never really appreciated the schwartzeneger version. He's too short, doesn't have blue eyes, and he's got brown hair. Not to mention that the story was too different and theatrical. anyway its a different medium so its forgivable.
Ayway, screw the movie. Your work on this fig is awesomely put together! the paint app is perfect. made the base figure and kitbash parts blend well together. If I didn't know the base figs, It'll be difficult to tell which parts were sculpted and kit-bashed. waaay coool
