***UPDATE

Just found out that I could update my older customs...dude im sorry Mods! This is another take on the custom, the original stays with me. I took more time sculpting, sanding, painting, taking apart. I've gotten a little better and more patient!!!

Hehe enjoy! :-)

Still enjoy the Under the Red Hood animated movie than the new DCnU costume...but at the end of the day it still beats the horrible grant morrison costume!!!!
------

Just like everyone else, after watching Under the Red Hood I def. wanted my own Red Hood figure. . . so I got a DC Universe Mr. Terrific and painted him exactly like the cartoon but for his head, I used a HML Red Hulk series Union jack and tried adding some sculpt to give it the helmet look instead of the tight ninja mask thing.

This is the first time ever that I used fixit sculpt it, from Jin Saotome's tutorial site I looked at how to create clothing out of it so by the boots I put some to make it look like the cargo pants he has instead of the DC universe tight pants. Also tried making my own leg holster for his knife.

I'm waiting on getting some sand paper to finalize the belt to make it more neat and clean cut looking.

Overall I am really happy with myself as in it wasn't just a simple repaint but I went a little extra adding in some sculpt

Hope you guys enjoy and thanks to everyone before giving ideas and what to use for this custom take care!

Base- DC Universe Mr. terrific
head- HML Union Jack with fixit sculpt/YJ Red Arrow

Used gamesworkshop citadel paints and testors dullcote to finish it

thank you very much!!! After I did the wrinkle creases by the boots I was really impressed! I def. will go back to the figure because I want to do some fine sanding on the leg holster, the belt and the pads I put on the hands and the legs.
and yes! haha the legs have a pseudo- highlights going on so the next time Ill have time around it I'm going to mix my chaos black and codex grey for his paints so it looks uniform.
I was really happy how the sculpt turned out, like I will be getting a scalpel and some of the tools everyone speaks of, thank you for your kind words so far! :-)

very nicely done, especially for it being your 1st time using sculpt. As weird as sculpted fabric looks on cut joints though, I think if you ever decide to revisit this you should sculpt over his entire legs instead of just between the knees and the boots. As it stands, his legs have a disparate look to them, and you did such a good job with what you've sculpted so far, you might as well go the extra mile and do the whole thing.
