Presenting for your consideration is Marvel’s Hercules: The Prince of Power. I hope this is a custom entry that is within the parameters for this contest because I believe the “ way they should be” is the way the Lion of Olympus should have more or less looked out of the factory. The HML figure base isn’t bad, but that head was a little too small for my taste and that dumb smile would have been better off as a smirk or gritting teeth, so I switched it out for a larger WWE head that looked very Herc. The custom was also given multiple hands because I was not a fan of those c-grip weird mini hands that Hasbro gave the original. Hercules is a punching hero and he doesn’t have at least one fist, so I gave him two, one playful thumbs up hand, and one scaled big c-grip hand. In that big c-grip I made Zeus’ favorite son a new huge mace to bash bad guys with. Wanting a Prince of Power out of the recent Marvel comic title: The Incredible Herc by Pak & Van Lente (good reading by the way) I went with costume colors of that run and added the lion buckle. The crotch and thighs with sculpted straps were changed with those of a deluxe WWE figure to give Herc some height, now he can stand toe to sandaled toe with Ares & Marvel Select Thor. Yes, the first Greek action hero has sandaled feet, not a comic costume requirement but I thought it would look good. Gone is Hasbro’s infamous Cheetos paint job and in its place a solid skin color with shading highlights, colored veins, and the most important application of paint, the thing that defines this character the most is his body hair. It was a pain to paint all those little lines, but you really can’t have Marvel’s Hercules if he doesn’t have body hair.
Without trying to give away my identity, this is my 100th custom on Figure Realm. Herc wasn’t my first choice for the 100th custom, but the custom I had in place was taking to long finish it happened to be an some Avengers vehicle that fans had been clamoring for.
I learned a lot from all the talented folks on this site and I hope to make the next 100 figures a lot better with the inspiration and ideas that spring from all of your creativity. Thank you everyone!!!

Custom 100 – Marvel’s Hercules was customized from an HML Hercules body, arms, & lower legs, a Charlie Haas WWE figure head, 3 Sota SF Guile hands, 1 HML Lord Thor hand, a deluxe WWE figure crotch & thighs, a LOTR ork sandaled feet, some odds & ends parts, and sculpting.
