Here's the Chainsaw Majini fella from Resident Evil 5. He was pretty fun to make, so few Resident Evil Baddies are actually smaller characters, they are usually huge monsters that are a pain to make. Head was an Army of Darkness Evil Ash head courtesy of a generous fellow by the name of Phineas Curmudgeon. Evil Ash just had the perfect head size and eye for the job. I sculpted the mask in 2 seperate pieces so he wouldn't lose neck articulation and glued on string for the rope that wraps around his burlap sack-type mask. I soaked his upper body in Ritt Black dye to darken his tone and so I wouldn't have to worry about paint rub on his arms. It actually turned it into the perfect skintone on the hard-plastic parts of his joints so I didn't have to paint them. A dremel to put all his blemishes on and a few drybrush/washes later and he was all done. Oh yeah, and I made him a little key and keyring out of random bits. You ever make a custom and hold him in your hands and you think he's awesome, then you take pictures and it just doesn't seem like it transferred well? That's how I feel about this fella, love him in person, but the pics leave too much to be desired. Probably just my picture taking skills, or lack thereof.
