This is another one that's been sitting on the shelf, out of laziness, and should have been posted eons ago!

I wanted a big, hard@$$ Conan. The LCBH line just didn't cut it for me.
I found this wrestling figure loose on sale, and saw the Conan inside wanting to come out!

I started by altering the head. The nose was a little more bulbous than I wanted so I sanded it down. Then I shaved off the hair and sculpted it anew.
I swapped the right hand for DCUC Bizarro's. On the right arm, I made a leather band with straps, and for the left arm I stole a leather bracer taken from a McFarlane Conan that I Dremeled out to fit over his wrist.
The boots of the wrestler were cut off. Then I took the bottom of AoA Sabretooth's boots from the swivel peg down, and sculpted the rest of the boots onto Conan to match Sabretooth's fitting a peg hole for the bottom of boots. Then I painted the boots several coats, a base brown to start, a dark brown wash to get caught in the grooves, then a lighter dry brushed for highlights.
I also treated the paints on the rest of the body like this, basic skin colour, then dark wash, then dry brushed highlights. You might notice that my Conan has skin a tad darker than most seen. I like the Frazetta Conan works, and I find he treated his Conan with darker tones, so used some of his work as examples.

Weapons: axe and sword sheath from L.C.B.H. Conan, an axe from McFarlane Conan, and I took the L.C.B.H. Wrarrl's sword, and sculpted the hilt to make Conan's family sword. I also had to Dremel the Conan sword sheath to fit the reworked Wrarrl sword.
I would have rather used A marvel legends Loki sword (for the size, blade shape, and the rune writing on the blade), but I didn't have one at the time.
