Born on the 4th of july!!!

This is one of those customs I'm proud of, but not in a hurry to do anything like it again.

I loved the dcuc customs of cap, because those upper bodies are just perfect for him. However, in order to really have him fit in with the ml collection of who ever ends up owning it, it needed ml style hips. So he's got ml series 1 caps head (easily the best captain america head made), upper half and right fist of copperhead, with first appearance caps lower arms and lower body.

It seems like whenever most people make this guy, they splice in parts from another dcuc lean body for the lower abs and mid arms. However, I didn't have one lying around, so I had to dremel off the scales, and resculpt. Sculpted on the chest star, but left off the back one, because seriously, one giant star is enough. Then came the most pain in the @$$ paint job I've ever done (outside of a sentry I'm working on). Finished him up with a magnet in his right hand and back of the shield, and here he is.
