Sandata is the name, fighting baddies is the game! :)

"Sandata" is a filipino word that means "weapon" in english... He's an indie filipino comic book character made by gener pedrina.
Sandata dons the design of the filipino flag on his costume, the red white and blue and the three stars and a sun. He uses "arnis" as a weapon (wooden sticks/clubs). Arnis is one of the original local martial arts/discipline that we filipinos have.

Independent/local comic book makers don't make a lot of dough here in our place, so writers and artists don't get the recognition that they deserve.. So here, maybe this would help to give (at least one of them) some recognition.
