Scourge the Hedgehog was my very first custom, and because of that it had problems like an iffy paint job, lumpy shoes, etc. This is a totally new figure (not a duplicate, I got another Sonic and customized it from scratch) that I made with all the improved techniques I developed. This time the paint job is much smoother, especially on the head, and the boots are molded around a pair of Shadow's feet, giving them a better shape and size. The shades have lenses made out of plastic with the frames molded around them, and best of all his hand made jacket is made of rubber, giving it a cool leather look. The sleeves are actually attached to the shoulders this time and the bike tire repair kit rubber I used is flexible enough that the arms retain all of their articulation. The shoes also still have the hole in the bottom so he can use the stand that is included with Sonic figures now. My original Scourge will always have sentimental value as my first custom, but this new one is better than it in just about every way.
