Base Figure:Thor
Height:12.00 inches
Conan the Barbarian as interpreted in Savage Sword of Conan. I sanded and modified the base Thor figure to create the chest. The hair is real courtesy of my Springer Spaniel (I'll grow back). The belt is custom made using leather and adding the skull base from a Spawn Blood Axe figure. The weapons are burrowed from Ignites figures and the fur loincloth is form a Star Wars Bantha figure. The bracelets and earing are for other Star Wars figures and the necklace is custom made. This is my first custom I hope you enjoy it. I failed to mention that the necklace pieces are made of real shark teeth covered with epoxy to attach to the string.

Thank you for your praise I'll be checking some of your figures. Thanks to all for the compliments I joined this site for that reason. Being my first custom I am really happy with this figure. I modified it somewhat following some of the tutorials listed in this site to create the King Conan I will be posting soon.

Great work on this Conan! Great choice of a base figure (and I think it's hilarious that your dog had a bald spot because of this - but it was worth it!). You also did a great job attaching the hair to his head. The only advice I can give here is to smooth out his pecs a bit near the bottom using sandpaper and apoxy. I would also give the figure a wash to bring out his muscles and add a level of depth (I'd use brown, skin tone, and water (obviously haha)). GREAT job on this fig Carlos!

Excellent job! Now I'm gonna have to do a 12 inch Conan. Clever choice for the hair, Now your dog is immortalized. Nice use of the 12" Thor.
