lokoboy: I've actually fantasized about shrinking myself, rather than the sculpture down, working on it, and then growing back to my regular size.
Batman1016: The main reasons I work small is that the figures take up less room, use less materials, and I find it more challenging. It all started when I made a joke MOC mini action figure as an accessory for a larger figure I sculpted. Initially, I only thought I'd be able to make simple, block-like figures (LEGO, Minimates, etc.) in a small scale, but I was surprised to see just how much detail I was able to obtain with practice.

I remember once when I was a kid that I've watched an episode of 'ripley's believe it or not' where a sculptor make sculptures (of course, what else could he be making.. haha!) the size of a needle hole. yeah! the sculpture literally sits inside the hole of a sewing needle! that f@cking small! but still it's intricately designed with all the details that a normal sized sculpture would have.. and he uses a magnifying glass when sculpting it.
now tell me the truth... are you and that sculptor the same person?

You know, I fancy myself a pretty decent sculptor. Most of my figure work, I do the minimum due to the art style of the characters I'm making, but I've done some really detailed work, particularly back in college.
Your stuff is so darn detailed at such small scale, I'm quite certain you made some kind of deal with one elder deity or another. I am utterly amazed at your abilities!
Since we've been having this little Q&A on my figures, let me ask you: why do you work so small? The sheer detail you put into these little figurines, I have to imagine you could work MIRACLES in larger scale. Why so tiny?

where did you buy your shrink gun? I need one to shrink some of my figures.
Really, I'm just amazed at how small but very detailed your customs are. Awesome work as always.
