Hey!

I hate Deadpool. The only thing I hate more than that horrible character is Ryan Reynolds. So, you can imagine how much it pained me to make this figure. Regardless, my movie X-Men shelf would never be complete without him.

The top half of this figure is a LCBH Madman, while the lower is from a ML4 Punisher. I sanded the details off the torso and resculpted the biceps. The head is from a random wrestler. The holstered gun is from a ML Baron Zemo. The straps and belt are all rubber bands, while the sheaths are taken from a ML4 Elektra. I know they're too small for the swords, but it's a representation. Speaking of which...

The swords were super fun to do. They're made from sheet styrene, attached to paint brush handle hilts. The hand guards are rubber bands, and the end caps are sculpted.

It's figures like these that really force you to utilize all of your available resources to get them done, but that just makes them that much more fun to make. Despite my feelings towards the character and actor, I'm very happy with this figure. The sheaths could stand to be replaced, but I'm happy with them if I never find anything better.
