Hey!

As promised, a villain to go toe-to-toe with my movie Iron Man figures. It's the big man himself, Obadiah Stane, aka the Iron Monger!

For this figure, I used an opening cockpit Monger. I glued down the cockpit and shoulder armor (because who wants to see that ugly little Jeff Bridges inside, anyway?) and added an ammo belt from a random G.I. Joe. The real ones, not the 80's character G.I. Joes. From there, it was just a simple repaint using lots of dark washes and brushes of silver.

I'm really happy with how this one turned out. He's big, heavy, and mean-looking. What more could you ask for in a baddie? I'd love to tell you all who's coming next in this line, but at this point I'm not even sure... If I had to bet money though, I'd say to keep an eye out for the Mark I.
