Daredevil (Father Tribute) (Marvel) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:21185
Name:Daredevil (Father Tribute)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel
Creator:Shinobitron
Date Added:April 20, 2010
Base Figure:Adon
Height:6.50 inches
Daredevil's father was a boxer, and no doubt some of those skills of course passed on to ol' DD. And since DD's father was an inspirational character in his life that motivated DD to become what and who he is, what better way to show this than making a "Tribute" figure. DD stand near 6.5" tall and is fully articulated. Daredevil here is seen wearing a pair of boxing shorts with 'Devil' written on them, given boxing gloves and boots with a more stocky and "seasoned" look to him for a more back to roots feel. Also included is 2 sets of wrapped hands (open and closed), his nunchuks, and his club for late night scraps.

ARE THE GLOVES SCULPTED, BECAUSE THEY LOOK ALMOST LIKE FABRIC?

Forgot to add the recipe in the description:
Head: ML Longshot with lots of sculpting
Body: Adon with lots of lining
Biceps: Judge Dredd
Boots: TNA Wresters
And everything else is from the fodder bin
BKZ-Thanks man, but the zipper is more like a personal preference and I like it on there. I thought about painting his gloves up to match his paint scheme but felt like they should differ from his general look, as I view them as his fathers gloves, thus the tribute aspect.
Tformer23- Thank you kindly and thats what I was shooting for!
redmist-They are from a couple TNA guys, the lower half is from Christian Cage, and the upper part I believe is from Kurt Angle. Thanks
Thanks to the rest of you guys for the feedback, much appreciated!

Very original idea here sir. I like how the mask sorta looks like the protective head gear that boxers use in training. Awesome job indeed.

Those are actually Rockys gloves. And they also look so big because of the way the picture was taken, the focus was on the gloves. However I agree if this were real the gloves are still a little big for his weight, but they were all I had and they looked cool.

looks good, but the boxing gloves look a little too big... are those from sota balrog? he looks like a bantam weight boxer wearing 12oz gloves... maybe you could use those rocky balboa figure's boxing gloves... I think its smaller and would look cooler, but regardless, that's just a small nitpick... this figure looks cool as it is..

Well executed custom. If I may critique, I would remove the zipper from the neck and paint the boxing gloves black or burgundy. Great job all around.
