Rios and Salem from Army of Two, The 40th Day

I played the demo and just had to make them.

Basically, I took some random parts and glued them on the figures then put a coat of paint on them.

Unfortunately, the masks are not removable, Salem's is the face from a Zartan 25th ann. figure and Rios' is a cobra officer's helmet cut to fit. Rios' armour was made from the Cobra Viper commando ROC figure and Salem's is the armour from the 25th cobra viper figure. The paint job is not the best but I am very happy at how the articulation and the overall look of the figures turned out.

Salem was by far the hardest custom I have made. If you don't know, Salem is shorter than Rios but the legs I used for Salem made him taller so I cut a large portion of his shins off. then his arms did not fit the body and then he developed "jiggly legs syndrome" so I had to take them apart and fix them. Then the peg in his hands broke so I had to replace them using the "paperclip method". then after all that I added some paint and put on his head(which doesn't fit exactly how I want it to).

Thankfully, Rios was just a simple "put together and paint deal".

I really didn't want this to be to much of a project, just something to do before spring break, but now its the end of spring break and I'm still adding the final touches...

I also repainted some guns for them along the way to use for other customs.
