This was truly fun. started a dc armory batman. cast war machine head and mask, sculpted waist belt, unibeam, added tech beasts backpack with a rocket launcher from ROC heavy duty, and the gat from a t-600 figure, attached it to the arm on the backpack with rare earth magnets so it can be removed, and same with the pack itself. forearm gun from fodder, and cable from ml pyro. custom mixed paints all over. including chrome trim, gunmetal, silver, black, sky blue, pearl blue, clear smoke, etc. I love it and hope you do too.

thanks! I thought that about the thighs too, but then I thought about the classic look to war machine and that's how it were with the line plating. So in the end I kept them attached and liked the results

This may be my favorite War Machine on the site right now, actually. Looks like War Machine without looking like Iron Man, which is NOT the easiest thing to do at all. I love the use of the base... I never thought of using the Armory figures as... well... armor. Overall, parts choice is good, painting is great. The upper legs look off to me with the rest of the figure, but that's just opinion and hardly shifts my view of the figure as a whole.
