No offense to all the great customs of this character but, I had planned on never doing one myself. Mainly for the fact it is so hard to bring something new that hasnt been done before. I had won this Storm Shadow figure last summer with a bunch of cool accessories but didn't do anything with it.
Well I figured what the hey lets make a Deadpool for grins and giggles.
I can't recall exactly which Storm Shadow it was. I have a pic of the base figure on my myspace page album.
It was hard to sand down the head since it is hollow rubber. Epoxied the facial features, added the tip to the back of his hood. Painted the white fabric costume red, and hand painted the black details. The black seams on the costume are trimmed with rubber from some flat twist ties. Added a heaping bunch of accessories, including a not pictured gas mask.
I was kind off going for more a Famous Covers or Sideshow toys feel for him, but when Stevid saw him he said MEGO.. and in homage to the original inspiration, he has so been dubbed, the MEGO Deadpool.
