I Like the Black too, If anyone remembers the Mego Superheroes, they did the same withe the black. Even Batman has black on the mask.

Nah..no mistake..its how I always remember seeing cap in the comics..it was like a shadow or something drawn by the artists..just something I Liked.

Looks good. You made the Mego mistake though by painting his forehead black. Cap's forehead is blue like the rest of him.
